It has been a long time since I’ve started a blog based on my personal experience and I forgot how awkward this first post can be!!! Since there is no avoiding that awkward stage, we are just going to embrace it by just jumping in. The basics about what I’ve been up to are here. But some people have asked why I went back to school and others have asked what I’ve been doing in school so that is today’s focus.

For those that don’t know, I started the NAIT Photographic Technology Program in September 2019. The “why” had lots of variables but it really came down to asking myself one basic question. Will I look back on my life and regret not trying? All my lists of pros and cons became almost irrelevant. YES, YES I would.

Am I scared out of my mind? Yes, but honestly I’m just putting one foot in front of the other here and, looking back over the last year and a half, my mind is blown at how far down a previously hidden life path I’ve come.

As for what I’ve been doing, well, that’s a much longer story and, because it’s a photography blog, its probably easiest to show you! Here is a few snaps from when I started at NAIT:
